An added bonus in the government incentive to install heat pumps – the domestic Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) scheme which has recently been extended till March 2021.
The RHI scheme pays back the heat generated by renewable heating technology for seven years. The specific design of each system is important to the effectiveness of the system, our experienced and trained team are able to offer our clients advice on the best system utilising their wealth of knowledge.

What is an Air Source Heat Pump?
Air source heat pumps extract heat from the air and in a similar but opposite process to a refrigerator the heat pump turns the heat from the air in to a fluid which causes it to boil and become a gas. This gas is compressed to raise its temperature providing heat to your home.
Advantages to air source heat pumps;
- Lower running costs that typical heating systems such as propane, oil and electric.
- No need to store fuel
- Heat pumps are not suitable for every home and are more effective in homes which are well-insulated and airtight.
- Heat pumps do require electricity to run
